With Sonar you have to configure manually all of these effects to run as soft synths.Īnyway I can understand when fx accepting midi it was relatively new and rare. Ableton does this (as does other PC daws) - if a plug accepts midi data then you can just route a track to it. I wish Sonar could somehow dynamically determine which fx plugs can accept midi data.
